PhishAID is a web-based phishing detection system designed to identify malicious and suspicious URLs using a hybrid rule-based approach. It analyzes multiple features of a URL such as structure, identity deception, and semantic intent to classify it as safe, suspicious, or phishing.
The main objective of this project is to provide real-time phishing detection and improve user awareness by explaining why a URL is considered unsafe. The system focuses on transparency, usability, and accuracy.
